This image came from the idea of a little girl liking her “New” teddy bear so much, that her doll feels no longer special. I titled this “A New Love”. So many photographs later this image came to be. Thanks to Olivia for being a wonderful model so I could capture this image for print competition but also because this shows my true style. An image that tells a story. Shot with a Westcott 4×6 soft box that represented window light, a 32 inch beauty dish as my main to give subtle details in the shadows, and a 4×6 reflector on seamless white paper as the backdrop.

The Painter Portrait Session…a fundraising effort by Artisan Photography to help AllianceForChildren.org. The mission of Alliance for Children is to protect Tarrant County children from child abuse through teamed investigations, healing services and community education. When you book a Painter Portrait Session with Artisan Photography, 50% of your session fee will be giving directly to Alliance for Children. Robin and I had the opportunity to tour the Fort Worth facility in March and learn about the many things that Alliance for Children does and is doing to work with local agencies to protect children from abuse. These are amazing people who have dedicated their lives to helping children feel safe and have hope for a better future.
The video is from our first Painter Portrait session and will give you an idea of the fun that awaits your kids. Our plan is to be doing several sessions throughout the summer, so call 817-729-4831 and book your session today or email artisanphotography@att.net for more information.

Remember when you were a little kid and they did the side profile thing at school and you brought it home for Mother’s Day. Your mom thought it was the most amazing thing ever. How about a pencil drawing of your child to give mom for Mother’s Day or dad for Fathers day. Artisan Photography…making the ordinary unique.
